As we move forward, we hope to attract practitioners new to BPRS DC, re-engage others and increase our number of paid members invested in the financial health and future of the organization.
There are two types of membership categories:
Applicant must be engaged in the career of public relations. This should include, but is not limited to, working for either private or public sectors in the following areas: media relations, public affairs, community affairs, publicity, public information, special events management and development, lobbying, and internal, employee and organizations communications. Also, professional membership is available to those engaged in the teaching or administering of public relations courses at an accredited college or university.
Student applicants must be currently enrolled in a public relations/communications program at an accredited college or university.
